When you donate to the Workers’ Bowl, it’s a vote of confidence for the hundreds of workers who participate in our educational programs and who are making a difference in their communities! There’s still time to donate any amount towards supporting workers to gain access to critical training on community organizing.

I want to donate today.
We are grateful for the incredible support we’ve received for this year’s joint fundraiser by the OEERC* and the Workers’ Action Centre. It means that we can keep doing what we love: reaching workers in precarious jobs and supporting them to become leaders in their workplaces and communities. Through fun educational socials, workers’ rights workshops and creative outreach in our different neighbourhoods and languages, our worker leaders have sharpened their organizing skills this year and inspired so many others to tap into our collective worker power!
No matter what workers are facing, from wage theft to pandemics to unsafe working conditions, the Workers’ Action Centre is a place workers can come to for support, community and leadership development. Our vital programs empower workers, no matter their employment or immigration status, to know their rights and build the confidence to defend those rights together.
Your generosity is what makes it all possible! The Workers’ Bowl is still open for donations until the end of the year. Your contribution will help us create vital leadership programs and reach more workers. Please encourage your family, friends and co-workers to donate! No amount is too big or too small. Tax receipts are provided for donations of $10 or more.
*The Ontario Employment Education & Research Centre (OEERC) supports community leadership development. The Workers’ Bowl is a joint fundraiser between the Workers’ Action Centre and the OEERC, with all donations going to the OEERC Education and Leadership Fund for Workers in Precarious Employment to create collaborative community leadership development and educational projects with the Workers’ Action Centre.
