The Campaign to Raise the Minimum Wage is organizing a provincial day of action on Monday, April 14. It is more critical than ever that our fight for $14 continues and that we demand that MPPs support Bill 165 which indexes the minimum wage to inflation. Find out more here
In Toronto, join us on April 14th as we rally outside one of the richest temp agencies in Canada.

Temp workers get paid 40% lower than permanent workers doing the same job, often at minimum wage jobs. A recent Labour Ministry labour enforcement blitz showed that 3 out of 4 temp agencies were violating basic employment standards. Ontario workers need decent wages, working conditions and a decent minimum wage!
Alongside the minimum wage campaign, the Workers’ Action Centre has been fighting to improve wages and working conditions for temp workers and people in precarious work. We have been successful in getting some improvements for temp workers in Bill 146. Now we need to make sure Bill 146 gets strengthened and passed, along with Bill 165!
