Thank you for making the March 16th Migrant Spring rally a day to remember! Together with hundreds of migrants, workers and community groups, we showed decision makers how important our demand of permanent immigration status for all is.
A big push for status for all has begun. But we need your help to keep up the pressure on our governments. Here’s how:

1) Tell our Cabinet Ministers to Regularize Everyone
Cabinet ministers are making decisions on a regularization program that could change the lives of half a million migrants. That’s why we are joining forces with the Migrant Rights Network this spring to make sure our Cabinet Ministers support an inclusive and comprehensive regularization program for Status for All. Here are 3 actions you can take:
- Send a personalized email to the cabinet ministers and demand that they deliver on their regularization promise.
- If you’re part of a community organization, faith group or trade union, ask them to draft and send a community organizational support email.
- Already wrote a letter from yourself or your organization? Drop the letter off next week in-person at a Cabinet Minister office by joining an action during constituency week (April 22 – 26, 2024).
2) Demand Equal Rights And Access To Services
Without immigration status, workers do not have access to basic services like healthcare.
Over one year ago on March 31, 2023, the Ontario government cut the program that extended health insurance to everyone during the pandemic. Since then many essential workers like José had to choose between going hundreds of dollars into debt to get the basic care they need or to suffer without treatment.

Join Jose in demanding healthcare for all!
If you believe it’s unfair that essential workers are going without healthcare, then please tell Premier Ford that everyone deserves equal access to healthcare in Ontario.
